Q. What is the typical hardware spec of your web server?
A. We use scalable technology and our web server resources can be expanded as needed. Our minimum server spec is Dual Opteron, 2 GB RAM, multiple 750 gig hard drives etc.

Q. Do you monitor your servers?
A. The company we are affiliated with uses Nagios Server Monitoring Software to monitor our machines round the clock. All machines are checked for performance every 2 minutes and corrective action is taken instantly if a drop of service occurs.  You can also check the status of the server from your user control panel.

Q. What kind of web servers do you use?
A. We use the CentOs Linux operating system on all our web servers. The reason behind this is because Linux is way more secure than Windows and runs much smoothly on web server environments. Most of the web servers on the Internet use Linux operating system.

Q. Do you allow adult content on your servers?
A. We allow adult content on dedicated servers only at this time.

Q. Do you allow telnet / SSH access?
A. We do not allow Telnet however jailed SSH is available on request.

Q. Can I access MySQL remotely?
A. You cannot access mySQL remotely however we provide you with phpmyadmin software which can be used to manage your mysql data bases. You would have to upload your mysql content on the web server in order to manage it.

Q. What version of PHP do you use?
A. We support both php 4.0 + and php 5+

Q. What version of Apache do you use?
A. We use Apache/1.3.37 (Unix) however please note that the version written here is for reference only as we keep upgrading as the need arrives.

Q. Can I use Active Server Pages (ASP) on my site?
A. We do not support ASP at this time.

Q. Can I use Java Servlet Pages (JSP) on my site?
A. We do not support JSP at this time.

Q. Can I purchase more bandwidth?
A. Yes additional bandwidth can be bought at the rate of $5 per gig per month.

Q. Can I purchase additional disk space?
A. Yes additional disk space can be bought at the rate of $10 per 100 MB per month.

Q. Do you offer a shopping cart?
A. We offer clients the popular one click install Oscommerce shopping cart script. It can be installed directly inside the website management control panel.

Q. Can I edit the httpd conf file?
A. You can only edit this file if you have a dedicated server with us.

Q. Can I install custom software on web servers?
A. Yes you can as long as they can be installed on linux servers.

Q. Can I have my own custom error pages?
A. Yes you can create them right inside the control panel.

Q. Can I create my own .htaccess files?
A. Yes you can create them
